One of the quirky cards of the inaugural Topps series, the Johnny Sain "wrong back, black back" variation became an immediate short print when it was discovered that Sain's bio on the reverse was actually that of teammate Joe Page and was quickly corrected. Nicely centered for the issue with fantastic lime-green and blood-red pigments in the backdrop and corners at or slightly above the VG/EX level. An essential card for master set builders.
