While assessed just short of the many PSA 9 examples from the 1949 Bowman set that are in this auction, this PSA 8.5 specimen of Hall of Famer Enos "Country" Slaughter looks every bit the part of a MINT card as well, and as one of two graded PSA 8.5 with just 2 graded a half-point higher, it's every bit as difficult to land for a high-grade collection. Adequate centering, impeccable registration, an immaculate surface, and NM/MT+ to MINT corners and edges make a strong argument for an overall MINT grade upon review.
