On August 25th, 1955, a rookie named Sandy Koufax took the hill and recorded his first career strikeout, fanning two in one perfect inning of relief. He must have developed a thirst for it as he started a game just two days later, pitching a two-hit complete game and striking out 14. A great piece for Dodgers or Koufax collectors alike.
