Sandy Koufax was practically untouchable in 1963, but Hall of Famer Ernie Banks was an offensive machine. And on this day, it was Banks that prevailed, launching three bombs over the fence, two of which came from the hand of Mr. Koufax. Sandy was roughed up for 6 runs and the Cubbies won 11-8.
