Addressed to David Davis, possibly the Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court who served 10 years after his administration, this ancient envelope, complete with wax seal on the reverse, is signed by the 13th President of the United States, Millard Fillmore. Significant smearing is evident but the signature of Fillmore is clearly legible.
