Issued in 1950 in Japan comes this eclectic uncut sheet of Menko cards featuring the one and only Babe Ruth. In Japan the word "Menko"  means thick piece of cardboard with someone's picture on it. Baseball was infused to Japan with the 1934 tour of American All Stars such as Ruth, Gehrig and Foxx, it is at this pint that "Menko's" featuring Baseball players became popular and who but Babe Ruth the most popular player the world had ever known should be featured on the "Joker" card. Exceptional condition with virtually no imperfections such as creases that are normally associated with uncut sheets. A stunning and culturally important item.
