Graded PSA 8 NM/MT. Up for grabs is another exceptionally presentable example of Hank Aaron's 1954 Topps RC issue that borders on the next grading tier. A slight diamond cut favoring the southeast corner appears to be the primary reason this sharp slice of cardboard royalty has not yet been graded NM/MT+. Then again, the Collector's Universe hologram on the reverse of the encapsulation signifies that this graded specimen hails from the early days of PSA, well before the establishment of the NM/MT+ grade. The corners certainly appear sharp enough for higher consideration, ranging from NM/MT+ to even MINT, with just the top right displaying at the opined grading tier. The side edges appear gently rough-cut and accurately graded, but the top and bottom edges appear MINT. The surface, finally, proclaims a pristinely registered image set against an immaculate orange backdrop with no extraneous print whatsoever. The only imperfection throughout the entire MINT surface, in fact, are two dust-sized flecks of print toward the right side of Hank's cap. In sum, an extraordinarily presentable example of one of the most significant postwar RC issues in the entire hobby.
