Graded EX 5 by PSA. Offered is a card that upon first appearance is instantly recognized by all enthusiasts as the rookie card of the great Mickey Mantle. A horizontal stunner that offers a crisp clean look at the 19 year old from Commerce, Oklahoma in a spring training pose. The centering is shifted to the right while each of the four corners displays nominal wear at their tips. The color as well as the registration are spot-on and lend a great look to this wonderful rookie card. The reverse displays a minor wax stain along the top (a common trait) that does not negatively impact the appearance of the card.
