Attention all Koufax collectors! Offered is the only 1963 Pittsburg Exhibit Sandy Koufax on record at PSA, and it just so happens to be an ultra high-grade PSA 9 MINT specimen. This previously uncatalogued card is believed to have been handed out as a prize at a Pittsburgh area fair in 1963, and it is currently in the process of being added to Sandy's Master Set Registry. It features a slightly smaller black and white print of the same image found on Sandy's 1963 Exhibits Stat Back, only the facsimile signature has been relocated to his shoulder, and a thick, white border has been added and made to resemble a seven of hearts card from a playing deck. Some subtle toning along the extreme edges seems to have kept this blazer from a GEM 10 holder. A powerful statistical boost to any registry.
