Though not selected to be used as the 2015 Kansas City Royals World Series Championship ring from among the various designs, this sample bears the KC logo in what would be a diamond-encrusted baseball. The left side has "Perez" and "13" engraved as a sample of a ring that would go to superstar Salvatore Perez. Engraved on the inside front are the series results for all three matchups of the playoffs. The ring originates from the estate of Mr. Robert Joseph Ilg, who had worked as the plant manager for ring manufacturer Herff Jones. Weight is 98 grams, tested at 14K gold, size 12 1/2.
