Though not selected as the design for the 2018 New England Patriots Super Bowl Championship, this Herff Jones sample ring was made in conjunction with Cadblu 3-D printing as one of the possible alternatives. Had it been the ring of choice, the sheer volume of the diamonds that would replace the CZ in this piece would have made it one of the most valuable championship rings ever produced. The ring originates from the estate of Mr. Robert Joseph Ilg, who had worked as the plant manager for ring manufacturer Herff Jones. Weight is 92 grams, not gold, size 10.
