Emerging as one of the most difficult and valuable of the post-war issues, the 1959 Home Run Derby release features 19 players from the made-for-TV show, along with the host Mark Scott. The cards were distributed by American Motors and disbursed at dealerships to help promote the contest, and featured large black and white player images with blank backs. Nine of the set's subjects eventually landed in Cooperstown, including the featured slugger, Hank Aaron. This example is graded EX/MT 6 (MK) by PSA, with very light wear at the extreme tips and a slight centering inclination for the left.
