There are only a handful of rookie cards that are an essential part of any advanced collection and the 1979 Topps issue of Wayne Gretzky is one of them. As usual, this example shows a moderate centering bias toward the right side but is well compensated with NM/MT overall endpoints, showing little more than a tiny fleck of chipping at the extreme tips of the corners. The surfaces are problem-free and the image of "The Great One" is nicely delivered. A very respectable and eye-appealing example at the NM level.
