We're not saying it happened this way, but imagine going to the August 11th, 1926 doubleheader at Clark Griffith Stadium, watching the home team Senators sweep the Yankees with a pair of 5-4 victories, and have the thrill of watching Babe Ruth hit career homer #346. But wait, there's more! You go out for a drink after the game and there's "The Bambino" in his street clothes, a willing signer of your ticket stub despite the double loss. Maybe it's because the Yankees still held a 9 game lead over the rest of the American League even after the sweep that had Ruth in a good enough mood to oblige an out-of-town fan. OK, maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but nonetheless, here's the ticket stub with a wonderfully penned autograph of Babe Ruth on the reverse. PSA/DNA has authenticated the ticket tub and the signature, you can leave the story behind it up to your imagination; that's what we did!
