1911 T201 Mecca Double Folder Complete Set - Completely PSA Graded #10 on PSA Set Registry

Creating an innovative way to double the number of subjects in the series, the 1911 T201 Mecca Double Folder set was certainly ahead of its time and a precursor to the 1955 DoubleHeaders set that came decades later. Made with the intent of folding them in the center, the images are on particularly thin paper stock and susceptible to creasing and tears, but the amazing imagery and vibrant color rivals the celebrated T3 Turkey Red set for sheer aesthetics. Offered is a complete 50-card collection that rates #10 on the PSA Set Registry with an overall GPA of 5.312. One card is graded PSA 8 (Barrett/McGlynn, one of 7 with just one graded higher), with three graded PSA 7 including W. Johnson/Street and Falkenberg/Lajoie, and 10 cards graded PSA 6 that include Bresnahan/Huggins, Bridwell/Mathewson, Byrne/Clarke, and Chance/Evers. The Cobb/Crawford card is graded PSA 5.
