Still unable to secure contracts to print cards of current players (other than Ted Williams, who they had under contract), the Fleer company issued their second "Baseball Greats" set that contains Williams and virtually every great diamond icon from the past. The featured collection is certainly high-grade and starts off with a PSA 9 graded #87 Hack Wilson, PSA 8 #13, 14 Cobb, 16, 31 Gehrig, 38, 83, 65, 75 Ruth, 142, and 152 T. Williams, and PSA 7 #4 Anson. The rest of the set is mostly EX/MT to NM overall, some higher or lower.
