Any vintage card graded PSA 10 is cause for celebration, but the vulnerability of the yellow and green pigmentation that defines the 1964 Topps Stand-Up series makes GEM MINT examples nearly impossible ... nearly. Presented is the baseball card hobby's version of a unicorn, a PSA 10 graded example of Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski's 1964 Topps Stand-Up issue. Only 10 cards from the entire series are graded PSA 10 (out of over well over 17,000 submissions to PSA) and yes, this is the only and only GEM MINT example of Maz with just 3 others graded PSA 9. It takes more than being perfectly framed and virtually chip-free all the way around the perimeter like this card is, you also have to have a flawless slate gray reverse, devoid of any discoloration, and this one passes the test there too. A spectacular example that should be well-contest among the owners of the top-ranked collections on the PSA Set Registry.
