This original artwork used to make the 1950 Callahan Hall of Fame set was created by Mario DeMarco and features Cooperstown great Walter Johnson. Unmistakable for his long and painstaking process of creating the images through a "dot method" technique, forming the finished images through a series of thousands of small dots, DeMarco made prototypes like this available to the public in the 1970s. The reverse has paper damage from being mounted and is stamped "02287" but overall the presentation is excellent.
