Those colored borders in the 1986 Fleer basketball series really do cause otherwise very sharp examples to drop in grade technically. But for the more modest collector, there's a silver lining as the featured PSA 4 example of MJ's rookie card looks far better to the naked eye and even offers centering that is as accurate as examples graded much higher. Look past the chipping along the top edge and you've got a fantastic specimen of a hobby icon that offers the aesthetics of a card costing considerably more.
