With the absence of Mickey Mantle in the 1955 Topps series, the rookie card of Roberto Clemente stands as the key to set, and that's saying a lot considering that Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax and Harmon Killebrew also made their pasteboard debut. The featured card is graded SGC 4.5 VG/EX+ but presents better than that. The centering is off toward the horizontal right side, a usual occurrence with this issue, but the perimeter seems particularly sharp and the color especially bold given the modest grade. The reverse has the usual light toning but no other noteworthy impediments. For the grade, it's a really nice card!
