A Negro League superstar for many years who batted fourth behind the fabled Josh Gibson, Walter Fenner "Buck" Leonard was ranked at number 47 on the 100 Greatest Baseball Players list by the Sporting News, and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1972 by the Negro Leagues Committee. He's not a tremendously tough autograph, yet the offered OAL (Brown) ball carries a very strong blue ball point signature across the sweet spot, and the ball is clean and bright, offering maximum visual appeal.
