Sporting one of the largest and most aesthetic signatures of any pre-war baseball legend, seven-time National League batting champion Rogers Hornsby has taken up the better part of a side panel to ink his blue ball-point pen signature on a toned OAL (Harridge) baseball. Often considered the National League version of Ty Cobb, Hornsby didn't have the blazing speed of "The Georgia Peach" but his .358 lifetime batting average ranks second only to Cobb and his 301 lifetime home runs and two National League home run crowns introduced an added dimension unmatched by Cobb.
