Infamous for being the pitcher who served up Mickey Mantle's purported 565 foot home run, Chuck Stobbs checks in on this red-backed 1952 Topps card, graded NM/MT 8 by PSA with just one graded higher. The colors are extraordinarily bold and vivacious, looking pack-fresh under an ample dosage of original factory gloss. The left end corners are NM/MT+ or better, offsetting the mild centering preference toward that side.
