The 1928 Philadelphia Athletics had the greatest collection of baseball immortals in the game's history, with Ty Cobb, Eddie Collins and Tris Speaker closing out their careers and teammates Mickey Cochrane, Al Simmons, Jimmie Foxx, and Lefty Grove still on the rise. The featured OAL (Bernard) ball is signed by Cobb, Speaker, and Grove, and while the signatures are somewhat faded and the ball shows wear commensurate with over 90 years of age, the pennings are still identifiable, with Grove situated on the sweet spot, Speaker above it, and Cobb to Grove's right. A one of a kind item featuring the autographs of three true legends! LOA from PSA/DNA.
