Hall of Famer Joe McCarthy has delivered a strong black fiber-tip marker signature on the sweet spot of the offered OAL (MacPhail) ball, easily rating in the "8-9" range in terms of strength. The stampings on the ball identify the date of manufacture as 1976, leaving only a short window for McCarthy to sign prior to his passing in January of 1978. Full LOA from JSA.
