The 1936 New York Yankees proved that they could win a World Series without Babe Ruth in the lineup. Lou Gehrig had taken over leadership of the team, with up and comer Joe DiMaggio filling his support role. The featured commemorative bat has a gold facsimile signature of Gehrig to the left of the center stamp with the rest of the team, including DiMaggio closer to the barrel. A great piece for any Yankees fan.
