Newly discovered and the first of its kind known to exist, popular Dodgers slugger Gil Hodges is presented on this 1954 Mascot Dog Food card in a batting image similar to the artist's rendering of his 1952 Bowman card. While the grade is PSA 5.5, we feel that the clean surfaces, outstanding centering, and NM quality endpoints make the overall assessment an injustice.
