In 1968, Denny McLain was named league MVP and was the unanimous Cy Young award winner, posting a 31-6 record with a 1.96 ERA and 280 strikeouts. However, in 1970 he was twice suspended by Commissioner Bowie Kuhn, once for bookmaking and once for gun possession, and ended up filing bankruptcy. Presented is his difficult 1966 Topps card in a grade of PSA 8.
