Captured in a light moment, Mickey Mantle takes it easy at the forefront of the empty stadium facade on this 8 3/4" x 7 1/8" black and white original type I photo from 1954. The reverse is date-stamped "May 4 - 1954" with the original wire service caption attached. Light surface imperfections and creases are present but the image of Mantle is unscathed, projecting with EX/MT overall quality.
