Taking his cuts in the cage with fellow slugger Gil Hodges looking on, this 9" x 7 1/8" original type I black and white photo features the powerful Roy Campanella in mid-swing, so sharp in focus that you can almost read the printing on the barrel of his bat. The reverse is stamped "Apr 6 - 1952" with an International News Photos stamp and original wire service caption. Light surface impressions leave the photo at EX/MT to NM overall.
