If you're an advanced football card collector with a world-class collection and haven't yet added a PSA 10 GEM MINT Joe Montana rookie card, you really need to make your move, because its popularity and extreme difficulty in getting a GEM MINT popularity is catapulting the price to astonishing levels with virtually every new offering. As it just so happens, Montana's RC is in the 1981 Topps set, which it turns out is significantly more difficult than any other Topps issue immediately preceding or following in terms of finding PSA 10 specimens. Arguably the best big-game quarterback ever (sorry Tom Brady fans), Montana's ability to step it up and play above and beyond his usual excellence earned him the nickname "Joe Cool." The offered specimen is every bit as on-point as you'd expect for a grade of GEM MINT with awesome centering, outstanding centering, and three of four endpoints that are just perfect. Over 19,000 examples have graced the halls of PSA headquarters and just 108 have earned their top grade; that's less than half of 1%.
