A number of players make their baseball card debut in the legendary 1948 Bowman issue, since production was halted for the greater portion of the decade for the war effort. Of these rookie cards, one of the keys is certainly Hall of Fame backstop Yogi Berra, presented here in SGC 2 GD condition. A handful of extremely light wrinkles, barely perceptible without magnification, forms the basis for the given technical assessment, but the image is crisp and clean, providing visual appeal in advance of the grade.
