Of the quartet of Ty Cobb cards that appear in the legendary T206 set, the red portrait variety holds a special place in the hearts of advanced hobbyists. The featured PSA 1 example doesn't carry the fabled Ty Cobb but does possess the tougher than usual Polar Bear reverse. Typical creasing on the surface is expected for the grade, and with the centering shifted toward the bottom edge, the name and team appear at the top of the card, which happens to be "Cobb, Detroit."
