The 1954 Topps baseball set has Aaron, Banks, and Kaline. The 1955 Topps baseball set has Clemente, Koufax, and Killebrew. And then there's the 1957 Topps football set, sporting a dynamic rookie trio of Unitas, Hornung, and Starr. Here's a wonderful PSA 7 example of the Starr rookie card, graded PSA 7 but flashing many qualities that surpass the grade, most notably the rich powder blue and orange pigments in the backdrop. With just a touch better centering, this beauty could take on the big boys at the NM+ to NM/MT levels.
