The rookie card of golfing legend Arnold Palmer is up next on the auction block, from the 1965 Bancroft Tiddlers Giants of Sport issue. Issued in booklet form with a variety of topics and titles, the cards are hand cut from the wallet-sized pages. The Arnold Palmer card contains biographical information about English jockey Lester Piggott on the reverse, and Palmer's info appears on the reverse of a different card in the set. This example has been graded NM/MT+ 8.5 by PSA, deftly removed from the book by someone with a steady hand! An interesting and seldom-seen collectible belonging in an advance rookie card collection.
