Rookie cards of Hall of Famers continue to climb in both popularity and value, and the debut pasteboard of the tragic hero Roberto Clemente is no different. Graded VG/EX 4 by PSA, the offered example displays with bold, vibrant colors and a noticeably print-free surface, with a light factory rough cut along the horizontal right edge. Corners are well within the parameters for the given technical assessment, and while the centering placement is clearly a bit askew, plenty of overall visual appeal is given. The reverse is clean and blemish-free, adding even more allure to this collectible keepsake. Overall, a pleasing example of one of the game's great ambassadors that won't require a second mortgage.
