This is a PSA 8 example of Ernie Banks' second year Topps card from 1955 that boasts strong color and excellent centering to go with its four solid NM/MT corners. Banks established himself as an elite player in the National League in 1955 by tagging 44 home runs, a new record for shortstops, which he would break again in 1958 with 47. In fact, in each season from 1955 to 1960, he hit more homers than Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, and Mickey Mantle.
