It always seems like the 1954 Topps cards with white backgrounds appear undergraded, and that's the case with this example of Dodgers second baseman Jim Gilliam. While the grade is accurate, the card is very well-centered while brazenly flaunting a radiant white backdrop and NM/MT endpoints. This sharp specimen will satisfy any high-grade '54 Topps or Dodgers collector.
