Even if the 1957 Topps set didn't include the legendary rookie card trio of Unitas, Starr, and Hornung, it would still be a gridiron classic for its brilliant two-toned color backdrops. But it does, and they're pretty impressive in this collection as #119 Starr (PSA 6), 138 Unitas (PSA 7), and 151 Hornung (PSA 7) are joined by PSA 7 examples of #30 Tittle, 32 Layne, 90, 129 Perry, and 143, PSA 6 examples of #86 and 111, PSA 5 examples of #5 Marchetti, 28 Groza, and 94 Berry RC, a PSA 4 #85 Lane RC, and PSA 8 (OC) examples of 97 and 139. Card #154 Morrison is graded SGC 50 VG/EX 4 and the checklist card is SGC 10 POOR 1. The rest of the set is 15% NM or better, 35% EX/MT, 40% EX, and 10% lower with 14 extra cards that include Marchetti, Groza, Tittle, Layne, Gifford, Perry, and Morrison.
