Known for some of the most amazing rookie-era photos ever produced of Babe Ruth in a Red Sox uniform, the famous photography studio of Underwood & Underwood followed "The Babe's" career as it took flight in "the Big Apple" and snapped this sharp photo of Ruth getting prepared for his season with the Yankees. The photo has typical light scratches scattered on the surface with a mild print line running through the center but no discernable creases or missing paper of any kind. The reverse has a teletype caption on a paper giving credit to the photographer, with handwritten notes on the reverse of the photo. A great snapshot of the 20-something Babe in his heyday. Measures 6 1/2" x 8 3/4" with an LOA from PSA/DNA.
