Entering his fourth season with the Cincinnati Reds, Pete Rose was just starting to assert himself as one of the top hitters in the game. Decades later he'd depart as the all-time hit king. But here he is on his 1966 Topps issue, graded PSA 9 MINT. The front surface houses a uniquely distinct image of Rose in his familiar batting stance and the sharp red, white, and blue color is as captivating and the particularly bright black and peach-toned reverse. None have graded higher.
