It may seem hard to imagine but to this day, nearly a half-century after it was released, there are still a good number of subjects in the 1977 Topps series that have yet to achieve GEM MINT status. But the winner of this BBCE authenticated and sealed wax box has to contemplate whether to put it away for the future or go for that "one-hit wonder" that might be lurking within. The competition for 1977 Topps sets on the PSA Set Registry is fierce, and such a card would certainly fetch a premium or help a set-builder move up in the rankings.
