Topps issued the 1956 card of Al Kaline in the first series to give collectors an immediate chance to get a card of the 1955 American League batting champion (the youngest in major league history). A powerfully colorful image (especially for the white-backed variation) is featured with four pristine MINT to GEM MINT corners. With perfect centering, it just might have hit the board as a PSA 10, something only 2 have accomplished to date.
