A member of the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings, the first fully professional team, Hall of Famer George Wright later played for the Boston Red Stockings, helping the team win six league championships from 1871 to 1878. The featured typed letter is signed by Wright in fine-tip fountain pen. The letter referenced his brother, Harry, sending regrets for not being able to supply an example of Harry's signature (Harry passed away in 1895). LOA from PSA/DNA.
