Typed and signed by Hall of Fame legend Rogers Hornsby, the offered letter is addressed to Bill Surface, co-author of his autobiography. The letter mentions a financial agreement between Hornsby and Surface for publishing the book, tentatively titled "My 47 Years in Baseball."
