Rookie cards of Hall of Famers continue to be in strong demand, especially high-grade examples such as the one offered here. This 1967 Topps Tom Seaver rookie has been graded NM 7 by the stringent evaluators at SGC, but possesses many higher-grade characteristics. Corners could easily be found on a NM/MT example, and the surface is noticeably free of errant print marks commonly found on the issue. The fantastic detail of Tom Terrific is enhanced by a shimmering layer of original factory gloss, and the reverse is clean and boldly struck. A high-end example for the grade, to be sure, soon to bring a smile to the face of the lucky winning bidder.
