Like their counterpart "Wide Pens" issued by Goudey the same year, the National Chicle R313 Fine Pens issue is printed on large, thin stock, and as such, some would argue that they are photographs rather than actual cards, but nonetheless, they are in American Card Catalog, and as such are collected by many hobbyists. The set includes the legitimate rookie card of Joe DiMaggio, who's first year in the major leagues was 1936. Offered here is a group of (43) different examples, highlighted by Hall of Fame members Arky Vaughan, Bucky Harris and Earl Averill. Condition is overall VG/EX to EX with a few nicer and a few lesser. Other names include Lucas, Camilli, Bluege, Lavagetto, Gowdy, Melillo, Blanton, Vosmik, etc.
