While Topps primarily controlled the baseball card market for active players, Fleer continued to produce baseball card sets by signing Ted Williams to an exclusive rights contract and creating a set dedicated to him in 1959, then adding past baseball greats from their 1960 and 1961 collections. Presented is a collection of four complete or near-complete sets from Fleer's three-year run. First up is 1959 Fleer Ted Willimas set with 79 of the 80 cards (missing #68 Ted Signs) that is 10% EX, 35% VG/EX, 20% VG and 35% lower. There are (2) 1960 Fleer collections. The first is complete at 20% EX/MT, 35% EX, 35% VG/EX and 10% lower with #3 Ruth VG/EX, 28 Gehrig VG+, 42 Cobb VG/EX+, and 72 T. Williams VG/EX. The second is a near-set of 62 cards with #3 Ruth GOOD (MK), and 42 Cobb VG. nad finally, a 1961 Fleer set missing just one card (#114) that is equally distributed between VG to NM with #1 Checklist VG/EX (MK), 14 Cobb EX (PD), 31 Gehrig NM/MT (wax), 75 Ruth NM, and 152 T.
