Released in tandem with the exceptionally popular 1959 television series Home Run Derby, each contestant in the contest was featured on a regionally issued black and white card. The featured card of Dodgers slugger Gil Hodges is the one and only PSA 7 on record with none graded higher, giving it significant power on the PSA Set Registry as well. Near perfectly centered with a nicely focused image and only slight corner wear, accounting for the unprecedented overall grade.
