In addition to the poor centering and color variations that are rampant in the 1948 Leaf baseball, football, and boxing collections, it appears that the uncut sheets were occasionally turned the wrong way, resulting in an inverted bio on the reverse of a subject different than the athlete on the front. Such is the case here with Max Schmeling being paired with Fritzie Zivic, one of 2 Schmeling "wrong backs" on record at PSA.
